🗑️ Account & Data Deletion for XSheets Users
How to Request Account Deletion:
- In-App: Go to Account → Delete Account and follow the prompts
- Email Request: Send an email to xsheets@myyahoo.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
- Include Information: Provide your registered email address and specify "Delete my XSheets account and all associated data"
- Verification: We will verify your identity and send a confirmation email within 24 hours
- Processing: Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days
📋 What Data Gets Deleted:
- Personal Information: Email address, name, profile information
- App Data: Local preferences, cached data, notification settings
- Authentication: Google OAuth tokens and session data
- Usage History: Login records and activity logs
📋 What Remains with Google:
- Google Sheets: Your spreadsheets remain in your Google Drive (managed by Google)
- Google Account: XSheets does not delete your Google account or Google Drive data
📋 Data Retention Periods:
- Immediate: Account access is disabled immediately upon confirmation
- 7 Days: All user data is permanently deleted from our systems
- 30 Days: Data is purged from all backup systems

When you sign in with Google, we access:
- Email address (for account identification)

- Google Drive access (to create and manage spreadsheets)
- Google Sheets access (to read and write spreadsheet data)

When you use our spreadsheet management services, we process:
- Spreadsheet names and metadata
- Folder organization within your XSheets folder
- Template preferences and customizations
1.3 Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information when you use XSheets:
- Device information (model, operating system)
- App usage statistics and performance data
- Notification preferences
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Primary Service Functions
- Spreadsheet Management: Create, organize, and manage your Google Sheets
- Account Management: Authenticate your identity via Google Sign-In
- Sync & Organization: Keep your spreadsheets organized in Google Drive
- Notifications: Send task reminders and app updates (if enabled)
2.2 Service Improvement
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance
- Identify and fix technical issues
- Develop new features based on user needs
2.3 Aggregate Data Analysis
- Does NOT identify individual users - all data is anonymized and aggregated
- Does NOT include personal spreadsheet content - only usage patterns and metadata
- Does NOT violate user privacy - no personally identifiable information is shared
- May be used for business insights - to improve service and user experience
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
3.1 We Do NOT Share Your Personal Information
XSheets does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your spreadsheets and personal data remain private.
3.2 Google Integration
Your spreadsheets are stored in your own Google Drive account. XSheets accesses this data only with your permission through Google OAuth.
3.3 Limited Sharing Circumstances
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or court order
- Security: To protect against fraud or security vulnerabilities

4.1 Authentication
- Secure Google OAuth 2.0 authentication
- No passwords stored by XSheets
- Device-bound session management
4.2 Data Protection
- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
- Spreadsheet data stored in Google's secure infrastructure
- Local data stored securely on your device
5. Your Privacy Rights
5.1 Data Access and Control
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data associated with your account
- Modify: Update your preferences and settings
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and data
- Revoke: Remove XSheets access from your Google account
- Use the Delete Account option in the app's Account settings, OR
- Send an email to xsheets@myyahoo.com with subject "Data Deletion Request"
We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm deletion via email. All personal data, usage history, and account information will be permanently removed from our systems.
5.2 Google Account Control
You can revoke XSheets access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions
6. Children's Privacy
XSheets is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date
- For significant changes, we will notify you through the app
- Continued use of XSheets after changes constitutes acceptance
